Locking Wheel Nut Removal Service
Auto Therapy offer a locking wheel nut removal service if you have lost or damaged your locking wheel nut key. Using tools designed specifically for the purpose of locking wheel nut removal – we can remove these safely and quickly without the need for chisels, drills and other tools which may damage your alloys.
Where the locking wheel nut has not been over tightended when fitted previously, we can remove it by using one of two methods:
- Replicating the pattern on the nut head to remove the locking wheel nut. The tool moulds itself to the original locking wheel nut to create a new “key” and remove the nut. This tool cannot be used again once it has removed your locking wheel nuts.
- The second option is for us to damage the locking wheel nut allowing the tool to grip onto the nut. This renders the wheel nut unusable but does give an option to remove it.
Please note: There is no guarantee we can remove your locking wheel nuts. if they have been over tightened or have been damaged by a previous attempt to remove them then this will hinder our attempts at removing them. We have removed numerous sets over the years, and are confident when it comes to doing the job. We do carry replacement locking nut sets, however we can source one should you require one.
Charges for locking wheel nut removal
Our standard charge for the locking wheel nut removal service is
- £30 call out, plus £10 for every locking wheel nut we remove.
Our standard service area for locking wheel nut removal is in the doncaster area. We are still able to offer this locking wheel nut removal service outside of this area, although a surcharge for fuel will apply. Please contact us to discuss your requirement.
