This customer contacted us after kerbing the wheel on his Golf GTi and wanted his wheel refurbished. He wanted the wheel diamond cutting to keep it original and decided to take advantage of our new diamond cutting service. As you can see in the first image, the wheel was heavily damaged and caused severe damage to the tyre. The damaged area had some aluminium welded into it to raise the area and then smoothed off with a sander. Once the area was repaired, the wheel was stripped off the existing finish and then repainted in the original anthracite colour (the colour you can see on the inner spokes). Once this had cured, the wheel is placed into a CNC machine with a diamond tip and the face re machined. Once complete, the whole wheel is given a coat of lacquer.
